High Ceilings and Wooden Floors: The rooms at this hotel were like walking into a grand palace. The high ceilings and wooden floors added a touch of elegance that made me feel like royalty during my stay. I couldn't help but imagine myself waltzing around the room in a majestic ballgown, despite my less-than-perfect dance moves.
Breakfast Disappoint: The breakfast offered at this hotel left much to be desired. Perhaps it's time for them to rethink their menu and add some more enticing options.

The hotel had a tour desk, a bar in the basement, and even a building dating back to 1893. It was like stepping into a time machine while sipping on a glass of wine.
Oh, and who needs an elevator when you can hike up steep hills all day? Fun workout!

Our room on the second floor had a jacuzzi bath and a terrace with stunning views of the sea. The location was perfect for exploring the art side of the city. Breakfast was fresh, and we loved the nearby Cafe Turri restaurant. I highly recommend Boutique Acontraluz for a wonderful stay with unbeatable views.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The cleanliness was impressive, especially in the recently renovated bathroom. The hotel facilities were great with a beautiful historic design and a lovely terrace with amazing views. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from many restaurants including our favorite, Cafe Turri. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
Nothing not to love.

The breakfast was tasty and the staff was super-nice. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from all the attractions, and there were plenty of options for transportation nearby. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee and pastries served throughout the day.
The rooms were quite cramped and we could hear all the noise from the street and the other guests. The lack of air conditioning made it uncomfortable to sleep at night, and the floors creaked with every step.

During our romantic escape to this boutique hotel, we enjoyed the stunning views of the harbor and the bay. The location was perfect, surrounded by plenty of restaurants and bars. Plus, the breakfast offered a great variety of fresh fruit, toast, and delicious jams.
The room we stayed in was tiny and lacked storage space, making it difficult for us to unpack. The bathroom was cramped, and the balcony door couldn't be locked, which was concerning for us.

This hotel offers great value for money. The prices are affordable, especially considering the attention to detail and the stunning views from the rooms with their own balconies. The staff are friendly and the basic amenities are provided. The location is perfect, close to the Cafe Turri restaurant which we loved.
All was perfect.

We stayed in the middle of a great area filled with plenty of bars and restaurants, including the fantastic Cafe Turri. Our room was well-decorated but small, with a tiny bathroom and no view. The staff were friendly and breakfast was fresh but limited. However, the charming old-style architecture and the terrace with a great panoramic view were definite advantages.
The parking situation was inconvenient as there was no on-site parking and nearby street parking was difficult to find.

This charming hotel is worth every penny. The attention to detail and the stunning views from the rooms with their own balconies are a sight to behold. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the basic amenities are provided. The location is perfect, with many restaurants and bars nearby, including the Cafe Turri restaurant which we loved. The breakfast is excellent, with the option of eggs if needed.
All was perfect; no improvements necessary.

I recently stayed at Boutique Acontraluz for a week and it was absolutely delightful. The hotel is located in a charming residential neighborhood, just a few blocks away from the metro and downtown area. The 1912 mansion has been beautifully restored and the public areas are spacious and inviting. The garden and terrace offer a lovely place to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The front desk staff, fluent in perfect English, were incredibly helpful and made my stay even better. The breakfast was delicious, and I appreciated the free coffee and tea available 24/7. The hotel was impeccably clean and the maid service was top-notch. a truly wonderful experience.
I would highly recommend this hotel.
